Interior Remodeling in the Austin Area

Kitchens, bathrooms and finish carpentry inside the house — in Georgetown and across the Austin metro.

Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, trim and the walls between them. The inside work that turns a house you have outgrown into one that fits again without moving.

What we bring to it that a specialist does not is the structure underneath. If a wall you want removed is holding the roof up, we know before it comes out — and we can carry the load properly rather than discovering the problem at the point where it is most expensive.

What's included

Cedar and timber work is what Victor is known for on the cabins, and the same hand shows up inside a house: boarded ceilings, exposed beams, built-ins that fit the wall they are on rather than the nearest standard size.

Twenty years in this area means most of the surprises inside a Central Texas house are ones we have opened up before — the 1950s wiring, the bathroom that was tiled straight onto something it should not have been, the floor that slopes because of what is under it rather than what is on it.

How we work

Look behind the wall

What is structural, what is carrying services, and what is only in the way. That is where the surprises live and where the price moves.

A price with the unknowns named

If something cannot be known until it is opened, you hear that now — with what it would cost if it turns out badly — rather than as a phone call halfway through.

One crew through it

The same people from demolition to trim. Nobody is waiting on a subcontractor who has been double-booked somewhere else.

Cleaned up properly

You are living in the house while this happens. It gets swept and closed off at the end of the day, not at the end of the job.

Interior Remodeling by city

The ground moves differently from one part of this metro to the next, and the houses on it are different ages.

Common questions

Can we stay in the house during the work?
Usually yes, and we plan around it — one bathroom stays usable, the kitchen is staged so you are not without it for the whole job. Tell us what you cannot live without.
Can you take out a wall?
If it is holding something up, it can still come out — the load just has to be carried instead. We work out which kind of wall it is before quoting, not after opening it.
Do you do the cedar and beam work inside houses too?
Yes. It is the same carpentry as the cabins, and it is the thing people ask for after they have seen one of them.

Other services
